About the Event
Dress Up for Democracy by attending the Third Annual Missouri Boys State Casino Night! This fun-filled event will be held Friday, October 24th, in the beautiful lobby of the Lightwell Building at 1100 Main Street in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
Start your Halloween celebration early at our Costume Casino Night. Come in your favorite costume--or just come as you are--for a scary good time!
Your ticket includes:
- Complimentary drinks from our open bar
- All-you-can-eat hors d'oeurves buffet
- Plenty of starting chips to saddle up to your favorite game!
- Live Band – Lost Wax
- Event Parking
Once you've amassed your chip stack, you will have a chance throughout the evening to redeem them for prize tokens—the more tokens you have, the better your chances to win! You'll also have a chance to participate in our fun raffles with winners drawn all evening.
Proceeds raised from all the gaming and event sponsorships will go directly to The American Legion Missouri Boys State to help ensure that the youth of Missouri will continue to have the opportunity to participate in this unparalleled, week-long pro-democracy learning experience.

At Missouri Boys State, we draw together the best and the brightest high school juniors each year and help lead them down the path of individual success and leadership through doing, not just learning. Using our democratic system as a basis, we equip the citizens of MBS to construct their own state, utilizing the core values that hold true in our everyday lives. We teach the need for competition, the value of public office, the strength of the individual voice and vote. By reinforcing these basic American ideals, we help them all to shape the future.
